The StoreWALL Standard Duty 1219mm panel is our most popular panel and the foundation of the majority of Australian garage storage systems we supply. Solid-core extruded PVC, compatible with all StoreWALL CamLok accessories, and available in 7 colours — the 1.2m panel suits any wall size and is the most flexible starting point for a new installation.

Weight Capacity

Capacity depends on installation method. InstallStrips are strongly recommended:

• With Standard Duty InstallStrips: 56kg at panel surface per 1219mm panel
• With Standard Duty InstallStrips: 26kg at 100mm from panel surface per 1219mm panel
• Face-screw installation only (no InstallStrips): all accessory weight capacities reduced by approximately 75%

1219mm vs 2438mm — Which Length Should You Choose?

Both lengths are the same panel — same material, same height, same CamLok compatibility. The choice comes down to your wall size and installation preference:

• 1219mm panels: more manageable to handle solo, easier to cut to fit odd widths, ideal for shorter walls or walls with obstacles (windows, doors, power points). Each panel requires 1 InstallStrip.
• 2438mm panels: fewer joins on larger walls, faster installation, better value per sqm, and the preferred choice for a full back wall of a standard double garage. Each 2.4m panel requires 2 InstallStrips.
• For a standard double garage back wall (approx. 5.4m wide): 2 x 2.4m panels plus 1 x 1.2m panel per row gives clean coverage with minimal joins. Alternatively, 5 x 1.2m panels per row.
• Mixed installations: 1.2m and 2.4m panels can be used on the same wall — they're the same height, so rows align correctly.
• Shipping is cheaper per 1.2m carton due to its shorter length and lighter weight.

InstallStrips — What You Need to Know

Standard Duty InstallStrips are 914mm long galvanised metal strips that screw to your wall studs, with the panel clicking onto the strip. Each strip can be broken into sections of 609mm or 304mm for flexible installation around obstacles. Using InstallStrips means:

• No visible screw heads through the panel face
• Significantly higher accessory weight capacities (approximately 4x compared to face-screw installation)
• Panels can be removed and repositioned cleanly
• Load is distributed across multiple wall stud fixing points

Each 1219mm panel requires 1 InstallStrip. InstallStrips are sold separately and must match your panel range — use Standard Duty InstallStrips with Standard Duty panels.

Colour Options

Weathered Grey

Warm mid-grey with a painted surface finish for streak-free consistency. The most popular Standard Duty colour.

Brite White

Clean, bright white. Makes accessories easy to see. Popular for well-lit workshops and garages.

Barnwood Grey

A weathered grey woodgrain finish simulating aged barn timber. Some variation in grain and tint from panel to panel — characteristic of the finish.

Whitewood

A light, natural timber look. Warmer than Brite White without the darkness of a woodgrain finish. Works well alongside light-coloured cabinetry.

Rustic Cedar

A warm reddish-brown timber-look finish. Some variation in grain from panel to panel.

Graphite Steel

A unique metallic surface treatment with the look of automotive paint. The metallic effect is on the surface only — deep gouges may reveal the PVC substrate beneath. Handle with care when installing.

Black

Deep black, solid colour. Provides strong visual contrast with stainless steel or chrome accessories.

Compatible With Other Systems?

Standard Duty panels use the standard 76mm on-centre groove pitch and are compatible with all StoreWALL CamLok accessories, MKE Milwaukee Slatwall accessories, and accessories from any other brand using the same universal spacing (HandiWall, Diamond Life, GarageTek, New Age).
