Warranty & Returns Policy

StoreWALL Australia is the authorised distributor of StoreWALL products in Australia. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and your rights under the ACL are not excluded, restricted or modified by this policy.

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure

  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

  • Have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

2. StoreWALL Product Warranty

In addition to your rights under the ACL, StoreWALL Australia provides the following voluntary warranty.

Wall Panels & InstallStrips

  • 5-Year Warranty from the date of purchase
    Applies to:

    • Heavy Duty Wall Panels

    • Standard Duty Wall Panels

    • Basic Duty Wall Panels

    • InstallStrips

If StoreWALL wall panels are used with accessories not purchased through StoreWALL Australia, the warranty period for the panels is 12 months.

Accessories (Hooks, Baskets, Shelves, Bins, Brackets, Totes)

  • 5-Year Warranty when used with StoreWALL wall panels

  • 12-Month Warranty when used with alternative rail or wall panel systems not purchased from StoreWALL Australia

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

If a product is found to be defective within the applicable warranty period, StoreWALL Australia will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace the product, or

  • Provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Overloading beyond recommended weight limits

  • Use inconsistent with product guidelines

  • Commercial or industrial misuse (unless agreed in writing)

  • Alterations or modifications

  • Damage caused by accident, impact, neglect or improper care

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Transfer of the product from the original purchaser

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

3. Returns – Change of Mind

We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the following conditions:

  • Products must be unused

  • Products must be undamaged

  • Products must be in original packaging

  • All parts and accessories must be included

A 15% restocking fee applies.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

To initiate a return, email: [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) before sending goods back.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

4. Refund Processing

Once returned goods are received and confirmed to be in resellable condition:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • You will receive email confirmation

  • Funds typically appear within 5–7 business days (bank processing times may vary)

5. Damaged in Transit

We require customers to inspect all deliveries upon receipt.

If goods are damaged during transit:

  • Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Photographs of packaging and product damage must be provided

  • Claims must be submitted to StoreWALL Australia (not directly to the courier)

If visible damage is present at delivery, please note this with the courier before signing.

Failure to report transit damage within 48 hours may affect our ability to lodge a courier claim. However, your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

6. Order Cancellations

If you cancel your order before it is dispatched:

  • A 2% processing fee may apply to cover non-refundable merchant fees

If your order has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a change-of-mind return and standard return conditions apply.

Duplicate orders caused by technical errors will be refunded in full.

Refund assessments outside these terms may take up to 21 business days.

7. AfterPay Refunds

If you cancel an order paid via AfterPay prior to dispatch:

  • A 6.6% administration fee applies, reflecting non-refundable fees charged to StoreWALL Australia by AfterPay.

If a refund is issued after goods are returned, AfterPay’s terms and processing times apply.

We encourage customers to review product specifications, load ratings and installation guidelines prior to purchase.
