Standard Duty Wall Panel Carton - Brite White (1219mm)
White Slatwall Panels — Standard Duty 1219mm Carton of 4 | StoreWALL
White Slatwall Panels — Standard Duty 1219mm, Carton of 4
Australia's most popular StoreWALL panel, in our most popular colour. The Standard Duty Brite White panel is the starting point for the majority of garage, shed, laundry, and workshop wall storage systems we ship — solid-core extruded PVC, fully weatherproof, and compatible with the complete CamLok accessory range.
Each carton contains 4 panels and covers 1.48sqm of wall. Install across multiple rows to cover your full wall height, combining 1.2m and 2.4m lengths as needed to manage wall width and minimise joins.
Note: Why Brite White specifically? White panels make accessories, labels, and stored items easy to see at a glance — particularly useful in garages and workshops with overhead lighting rather than natural light. White also complements most garage door colours and cabinetry finishes.

⚠️ Brite White colour note: White PVC is produced in batches. The shade of Brite White may vary slightly between production runs. If you are ordering panels for an installation that requires a consistent white across a large wall, order all panels you need in a single order to ensure they come from the same batch. Top-up orders placed later may show a slight tint variation.
Installation — Two Methods
Method 1: InstallStrips (Recommended)
InstallStrips are galvanised metal strips that screw to your wall studs first — the panel then clicks onto the strip. No screw heads visible through the panel face. Load is distributed across multiple fixing points along the strip, giving you significantly higher accessory weight capacities than face-screw installation.
- 1 × Standard Duty InstallStrip required per 1.2m panel (sold separately)
- Each 914mm InstallStrip can be broken into 609mm or 304mm sections for fitting around studs
- Use 8g × 40mm screws to fix each InstallStrip to your wall studs
- Aim for 3 points of wall-stud contact per panel
- Works on stud walls, brick, concrete, and masonry — use appropriate fasteners for each surface
Method 2: Colour-Matched Face Screws
Panels can be fixed directly through the face using Brite White colour-matched screws — approximately 20 screws per 1.2m panel. Faster to install, but screw heads will be visible on the panel face. Weight capacities for all accessories are reduced by approximately 75% compared to InstallStrip installation.
For any application involving bikes, ladders, tools, or anything with significant weight, InstallStrips are strongly recommended.
How Many Panels Do You Need?
Use the formula below as a starting point, then use our Panel Calculator to confirm your order quantity:
- Measure your wall width × desired panel height in metres = total sqm required
- Divide by 1.48sqm (coverage per 1.2m carton) and round up to the next whole carton
- Standard double garage back wall (5.4m wide × 2.0m panel height): approx. 7–8 cartons of 1.2m panels, depending on rows
- For large walls, consider mixing with 2.4m panels to reduce joins — each 2.4m carton covers 2.96sqm
Our Panel Calculator handles this automatically — enter your wall dimensions and it outputs the exact number of cartons and InstallStrips needed. Please also call us or send a quote request.
CamLok Accessory Compatibility
Standard Duty panels use the universal 76mm on-centre groove pitch — compatible with all StoreWALL CamLok hooks, shelves, brackets, bins, and baskets. Also compatible with:
- MKE Milwaukee Slatwall accessories
- StorEase Smart Wall Panel accessories (the wider aluminium Bunnings panel)
- HandiWall, Diamond Life, GarageTek, Garagesmart, and New Age branded accessories
Incompatible systems: Flowwall, Crownwall, Gladiator GearWall, Proslat, Rubbermaid (all proprietary groove dimensions). Not compatible with the StorEase Slimline Smart Rail.
Brite White vs Other Colours
Brite White and Weathered Grey are our most popular colours. The practical difference:
- Brite White: high-contrast background — hooks, labels, and products stand out clearly against the panel. Suits well-lit spaces, modern aesthetics, and garages adjacent to living areas.
- Weathered Grey: neutral tone that reads as 'workshop' rather than 'showroom'. Hides dust and minor marks better than white. The most popular colour in darker or more industrial settings.
- Other colours (Barnwood Grey, Whitewood, Rustic Cedar, Graphite Steel, Black): available in the same Standard Duty 1.2m carton — see colour options above.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many panels do I need for a standard Australian double garage?
A standard double garage back wall is approximately 5.4m wide. If you want to cover the wall to a height of 2.0m, you need approximately 10.8sqm of panel. Each 1.2m carton covers 1.48sqm, so you'd need approximately 8 cartons. Most customers run 3–4 rows of panels per wall — we recommend using the Panel Calculator for an accurate carton count based on your exact dimensions.
Do I need to buy InstallStrips separately?
Yes — InstallStrips are not included in the panel carton and must be ordered separately. For a 1.2m carton (4 panels), order 4 × Standard Duty InstallStrips. InstallStrips are strongly recommended: they provide a clean, screw-free finish and increase accessory weight capacities by approximately 4× compared to face-screw installation.
Can I cut StoreWALL panels to fit around windows or doors?
Yes. Standard Duty PVC panels cut cleanly with a circular saw, jigsaw, or multi-tool. We also offer a free panel cutting service — contact us before placing your order if you need panels cut to specific lengths.
Will these panels work on a brick or concrete garage wall?
Yes. InstallStrips can be fixed to brick, concrete block, masonry, timber studs, or plasterboard walls. For brick and concrete, use masonry anchors or nail anchors in place of standard wood screws. The installation method is the same — the InstallStrip attaches to the wall first, and the panel clips onto it.
Are these panels compatible with my existing slatwall accessories?
If your accessories are designed for standard 76mm on-centre slatwall, yes — StoreWALL Standard Duty panels are compatible. This includes StorEase Smart Wall Panel accessories (from Bunnings), MKE Milwaukee Slatwall accessories, HandiWall, Garagesmart, GarageTek, Diamond Life, and New Age accessories. StoreWALL's own CamLok accessories are always compatible. If you're unsure about your existing accessories, send us a photo and we'll confirm before you order.
Why is Brite White the most popular colour?
White panels provide a high-contrast background that makes hooks, labels, and stored items easy to see — particularly useful in garages with overhead fluorescent or LED lighting. The clean finish also suits garages that are adjacent to the house's living space. The practical trade-off is that white shows dust and marks more readily than a mid-tone grey.
The product says 'whiteness may vary between batches' — is this a problem?
Minor batch-to-batch variation in white tone is normal for this manufacturing process. For most installations across a single wall, the variation is visually negligible. If you're fitting out a large wall or multiple rooms and need consistent colour, place your full order at once so all panels come from the same production batch. We cannot guarantee colour matching between separate orders placed at different times.
What is the maximum weight these panels can hold?
Weight capacity depends on how the panels are installed. With Standard Duty InstallStrips properly fixed into wall studs: 56kg at 100mm from the panel surface per 1.2m panel, and 113kg at the panel surface per 2.4m panel. Without InstallStrips (face-screw installation only): reduce these figures by approximately 75%. Capacity is also affected by how weight is distributed — always spread load across multiple accessories rather than concentrating it on a single hook.
