- Weathered Grey — Warm mid-grey, colour matched to our StoreWALL accessories.
- Brite White — our most popular colour. Clean, bright white. Makes accessories easy to see. Note: white tone may vary slightly between production batches.
- Barnwood Grey — weathered grey woodgrain looking finish.
- Whitewood — light natural timber look. Popular alongside light-coloured cabinetry.
- Rustic Cedar — warm reddish-brown timber-look finish.
- Graphite Steel — unique metallic surface treatment. Handle with care during installation.

How Much Wall Does This Kit Cover?
One Get Started Kit (4 panels) covers 1.48sqm of wall — approximately 1.2m wide × 1.2m high (one column of four panels stacked), or 2.4m wide × 0.6m high (two columns of two panels each). This is the right starting point for a section of wall — a tool zone, a sports corner, or the beginning of a longer run.
For a full garage wall, most customers order multiple kits or combine this kit with additional plain panel cartons. As a rough guide:
- Single garage side wall (approx. 3.6m wide × 1.8m high): approx. 4–5 cartons
- Double garage back wall (approx. 5.4m wide × 2.0m high): approx. 7–8 cartons
- Use our Panel Calculator for an exact carton count based on your specific wall dimensions
Why InstallStrips Are Included — Not Optional
InstallStrips are the galvanised metal strips that mount to your wall studs first — the panels then click onto the strips. Including them in the kit isn't just convenience; it's the installation method we recommend for every Standard Duty installation because:
- Weight capacity: InstallStrip installation gives you approximately 4× higher accessory weight ratings compared to face-screw installation through the panel
- Clean finish: no visible screw heads through the panel face
- Repositionability: panels installed on InstallStrips can be removed and rehung cleanly — face-screwed panels leave visible holes
- Security: load is distributed across multiple wall-stud contact points along each strip, not concentrated at individual screws
Installing without InstallStrips is possible but reduces all hook, shelf, and bracket weight capacities by approximately 75%. For any application involving bikes, ladders, tools, or anything with real weight, InstallStrips are not optional in practice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the kit the same price as buying the panels and InstallStrips separately?
Yes — the Get Started Kit is priced the same as purchasing the four panels, four InstallStrips, and fasteners individually. There is no convenience markup. The kit exists purely to make your first order simpler — one product to find, one item to add to cart, and no risk of forgetting the InstallStrips or ordering the wrong fasteners.
Do I need anything else to complete my installation?
For a standard timber stud wall, no — the kit includes everything you need to install the panels. You'll also need an impact driver, a spirit level, and a pencil to mark your stud positions. If you're planning to add hooks, shelves, or brackets, those are purchased separately from the accessories range.
How many kits do I need for my garage?
One kit covers 1.48sqm (four 1.2m panels). For a sense of scale: a single row of four panels runs 1.2m wide and 1.2m high; two rows run 1.2m wide and 0.6m high. Most garages require multiple cartons for full wall coverage. Use the Panel Calculator to get an exact number based on your wall dimensions, or call us and we'll work it out with you.
What's the difference between 1219mm and 2438mm kits?
The 1.2m kit (this product) contains four 1.2m panels — the shorter format, better for walls with windows, doors, or power points that require cutting around. The 2.4m kit contains four 2.4m panels and eight InstallStrips — better for full, uninterrupted wall runs with fewer joins. Both kits include the same types of components matched to their panel size; both are the same Standard Duty PVC material and compatible with identical accessories.
