Standard Duty Wall Panel Carton - Whitewood (2438mm)
Standard Duty Wall Panel Carton - Whitewood (2438mm)
Garage Slatwall Panels — 2438mm Standard Duty, Whitewood
Four Full-Length Panels Per Carton — Fewer Joins, More Wall
The 2438mm panel is the format to choose when you have an uninterrupted wall run. At 2.4 metres long, each panel spans the full height of a standard garage wall in a single piece — no mid-wall joins, no alignment issues, and a much cleaner finished look than shorter panels joined end-to-end.
One carton contains four panels and covers 2.96sqm of wall. For most single or double garage walls, you'll need two to four cartons to cover a full wall. Use the Panel Calculator to get an exact count based on your dimensions.
About Whitewood
Whitewood is a light, natural timber-look finish — pale and clean, closer to a blonde or dressed pine than a dark hardwood. It's a popular choice alongside white or light-coloured cabinetry, and in garages or utility rooms where a warmer feel is preferred without going dark.
The grain is subtle and even, running along the length of each panel. As with all timber-look finishes, there may be some variation in grain pattern and tint from panel to panel — this is inherent to the finish process.

InstallStrips — Add Them at Checkout
InstallStrips are sold separately for the 2438mm panels — you can add them directly from the product options above. For each 2.4m panel, you need two InstallStrips (one on every stud or every 450mm), so a carton of four panels requires eight InstallStrips total.
Why InstallStrips matter:
- Weight capacity: InstallStrip installation gives approximately 4× higher accessory weight ratings compared to face-screwing through the panel
- Clean finish: no visible screw heads on the panel face
- Repositionability: panels installed on InstallStrips can be removed and rehung without leaving visible holes
- Load distribution: weight is spread across multiple stud contact points along each strip, not concentrated at individual screws
Installing without InstallStrips reduces all hook, shelf, and bracket weight capacities by approximately 75%. For bikes, ladders, or anything with real weight, InstallStrips are not optional in practice.
How Much Wall Will This Cover?
One carton (four 2438mm panels) covers 2.96sqm — approximately 2.4m wide × 1.2m high. That's a single row of four panels running the full height of a standard garage wall, or two rows at half height.
As a rough guide for full wall coverage:
- Single garage side wall (approx. 3.6m wide × 2.4m high): approx. 3–4 cartons
- Double garage back wall (approx. 5.4m wide × 2.4m high): approx. 5–6 cartons

Frequently Asked Questions
Do InstallStrips come with the panels? No — for the 2438mm individual colour cartons, InstallStrips are an optional add-on at checkout. You'll need two per panel (eight for a full carton of four). If you'd prefer everything in one order with InstallStrips and fasteners already included, see the 2438mm Get Started Kit.
Why 2438mm instead of 1219mm? The 2.4m panel is the right choice for uninterrupted walls — full-height coverage in one panel with no mid-wall horizontal joins. The 1219mm panel is better suited to walls with windows, doors, power points, or any obstruction that requires panels to be cut around. Both sizes are the same Standard Duty PVC material and compatible with identical accessories.
What screws or fasteners do I need? InstallStrips are fixed to wall studs or masonry using either 7g × 40mm screws (timber stud walls) or 5mm × 40mm nail anchors (masonry/brick walls). Both are available as add-ons at checkout.
Can I mix 2438mm and 1219mm panels on the same wall? Yes — both share the same groove profile and pitch, so they are fully compatible with each other and with all StoreWALL accessories.
How are 2.4m cartons shipped? The 2.4m carton is 2464mm long and ships via courier freight, not Australia Post. Delivery times and carriers may differ from smaller items — refer to our Delivery Policy for details.
