StoreWALL InstallStrip (Standard Duty)
StoreWALL InstallStrip — Standard Duty
The Standard Duty InstallStrip is the hidden fastener system that makes StoreWALL panels strong, clean, and permanent. The strip fixes to your wall first — then the panel hooks over it and sits flush with no visible screws, no fastener heads, and no holes through the panel face. One InstallStrip per 1219mm panel, two per 2438mm panel.
Important: Standard Duty InstallStrips are designed for Standard Duty panels only. Do not use Heavy Duty InstallStrips with SD panels, or SD InstallStrips with HD panels — the profiles are different and the rated load capacity will not apply.

Why InstallStrips matter
The load ratings on Standard Duty panels — 56kg at the surface for a 1219mm panel, 113kg for a 2438mm panel — are only achieved when panels are installed using SD InstallStrips. Without them, load capacity drops by approximately 75%. InstallStrips spread the load across the full width of the panel rather than concentrating it at individual screw points, which is what makes the system genuinely strong rather than just appearing to be.
The hidden fastener design also means no screws showing through the panel face. The panel hooks over the strip and sits flush against the wall — clean, permanent, and easy to remove or reposition if you ever need to.
How many do I need?
- 1219mm panels — 1 InstallStrip per panel
- 2438mm panels — 2 InstallStrips per panel
If you're ordering a carton of 4 × 1219mm panels, you need 4 InstallStrips. If you're ordering a carton of 4 × 2438mm panels, you need 8 InstallStrips. The easiest way to get everything together is the 1219mm Get Started Kit or 2438mm Get Started Kit — both include panels, InstallStrips, and fasteners in one order.
Installation
Fix the InstallStrip to your wall first — horizontally, at the height where the top edge of your first panel will sit. Each 914mm strip can be snapped into 762mm or 381mm sections to work around obstacles or stud positions. For timber stud walls use 8g × 40mm screws (12 per strip); for brick or concrete use 5mm × 40mm nylon mushroom anchors. Once the strip is fixed, the panel hooks over it from the front and locks into place.
Full installation instructions and video guides are available on the Getting Started page.
Note: Do not use Heavy Duty InstallStrips with Standard Duty panels. The profiles are different — using the wrong strip will compromise the load rating and the panel fit. If you have Heavy Duty panels, order the Heavy Duty InstallStrip instead.
