What Can the 381mm Bracket Do?

• Floating garage shelves — pair two or more brackets to support the 400mm Deep Metal Shelf, or your own timber or metal cut to size up to 391mm deep
• Horizontal bike storage — store bikes flat against the wall with the frame resting on padded brackets. Add optional foam non-slip padding to protect your bike frame
• General storage — support timber, containers, large sporting equipment and workshop supplies directly on the longer bracket arm

How Many Brackets Do I Need for a Shelf?

• Up to 1.2m wide — use at least 2 brackets
• Up to 1.8m wide — use at least 3 brackets
• Up to 2.4m wide — use at least 4 brackets

Maximum shelf depth: 391mm. If building your own shelf, ensure the material does not exceed this depth. The bracket has drill holes for secure shelf attachment.

• 381mm Bracket (this product) — 34kg per bracket; suits the 400mm Deep Metal Shelf and deeper custom shelving up to 391mm deep

The two bracket sizes are not interchangeable with each other's shelves — always match the bracket to the shelf. The 254mm plastic floating shelves require 254mm brackets; the 400mm Deep Metal Shelf requires 381mm brackets.
