The Rotating J-Hook Classic Set is designed for road bikes, hybrid bikes, and commuter bikes — bikes with standard tyre profiles. The set includes the Rotating J-Hook for the front wheel plus a Universal Hook for lower tyre support, giving a narrow-profile tyre a secure two-point hold on the wall.

The Rotating J-Hook swivels the bike flat against the wall rather than leaving it perpendicular — saving significant floor space when fitting multiple bikes into a garage. With CamLok™ pre-installed on both hooks, the set stays firmly locked to the panel as you hang or remove the bike. No tools required. Sold as a set of two hooks.

Classic Set vs Mountain Set — choosing between them

Both sets use the same Rotating J-Hook and the same rotating mechanism. The difference is the second hook included:

• Classic Set (this product) — includes a Universal Hook. Suited to road bikes, hybrids, and commuter bikes with narrower tyre profiles.
• Mountain Set — includes a Wide Hook instead. Suited to mountain bikes, e-bikes, and fat bikes with wider tyre profiles that need more lateral support.

If you're unsure which to choose, measure your tyre width. Tyres under 2.1 inches (53mm) wide — the Classic Set. Tyres 2.1 inches and wider — the Mountain Set.

How the rotating mechanism works

The J-Hook swivels on a pivot point built into the CamLok base. With the bike mounted, rotate it so the bike sits parallel to the wall rather than sticking out perpendicular — reducing the clearance needed in front of the bike from roughly 1.5–1.8m down to around 200–300mm. To remove the bike, rotate it back to perpendicular, lift the front wheel off the hook, and lower the bike.

What's the difference between this and the standard Rotating J-Hook?
The standard Rotating J-Hook is a single hook for the front wheel only. This Classic Set adds a Universal Hook for lower tyre support — providing a more stable two-point hold, particularly useful when the bike has to stay on the wall for extended periods.

Will it work for a kids' bike?
Yes — kids' bikes with standard tyre profiles suit the Classic Set. For smaller kids' bikes, the J-Hook (vertical) is also worth considering as an alternative if space is very tight.

How high should I mount the hooks?
Mount the Rotating J-Hook high enough that the front wheel clears the floor when hanging — typically 1.3–1.5m from the floor for a standard adult road or hybrid bike. Mount the Universal Hook below it at a height that contacts the lower portion of the tyre — position it after hanging the bike to find the right height before locking in place.

Can I use this for a mountain bike?
It will work, but the Mountain Set with its Wide Hook is the better choice for MTBs and e-bikes — the wider hook provides more lateral support for a broader tyre profile.
