StoreWALL 812mm Floating Plastic Shelf

A reversible plastic shelf that mounts to StoreWALL panels via 254mm Brackets (sold separately). One side is flat with no lip — use it as a standard shelf. Flip it over and it becomes a tray with a raised lip edge all the way around, useful for items that might roll or shift.

Sold as a single shelf. Brackets are not included.

How many brackets do you need?

The shelf itself doesn't mount directly to the wall — it rests on 254mm Brackets which clip into your StoreWALL panels. The number of brackets depends on the shelf length:

• Up to 1.2m — minimum 2 brackets
• Up to 1.8m — minimum 3 brackets
• Up to 2.4m — minimum 4 brackets

For the 812mm shelf, 2 brackets is the correct quantity. Position them 152mm in from each end of the shelf for even load distribution.

Flat shelf or lipped tray — when to use each side

The flat side suits general garage storage — paint tins, toolboxes, boxes, power tool cases, anything with a stable base. The lipped tray side is useful for smaller loose items that might shift or roll — spray cans, jars, bottles, small hardware — where the raised edge provides containment without a closed bin.

Are the brackets included?
No. The shelf is sold separately from the brackets. You'll need 2 × 254mm Brackets for the 812mm shelf.

What's the maximum weight this shelf holds?
45kg, evenly distributed across the shelf surface. Do not concentrate load at one point — spread weight evenly and ensure brackets are correctly positioned 152mm from each end.

Can this shelf be used on all StoreWALL panel types?
Yes — compatible with Basic Duty, Standard Duty, and Heavy Duty panels. The brackets clip into the standard 76mm on-centre grooves common to all three panel types.

Is a larger shelf available?
Yes — the 1219mm Floating Plastic Shelf is available for wider shelf runs. It requires a minimum of 3 brackets for spans up to 1.2m.
